Mathew Kaplan 2015 Graduating from Duke in December with a degree in in Positive Psychology. Passionate about education equity and antibullying work, he founded The Be ONE Project, that focuses on community-building and anti-bullying efforts for middle school students. After graduation he will return to Arizona with a position with Teach for America. He will be teaching middle school. “I'm very excited to be able to continue to serve in this way.” As a part of the program, he will pursue a Masters degree at Arizona State University. Matthew says, “I am grateful for the Alisa's Angels Foundation!”
Alisa's Angels scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors from Arizona and the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Read more about our Colorado Springs expansion here.
Alisa’s Angels scholarship recipients are working and attending school throughout the nation, from Washington state to Washington DC, Maine to Michigan, Oregon to Orlando.
