Applications must be submitted no later than February 1, 2019 to be considered.
Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school senior who are involved in service to others. Alisa's Angels was founded in memory of Alisa, who was committed to helping others because, "that is what we were put on earth to do”.
Application packages are reviewed by a selection committee. Applicants will be notified in early March, 2019 of the results. Recipients will be presented the scholarships at the gala on March 24.
For the first time, graduating high school seniors from the Colorado Springs area - El Paso and Teller Counties - are eligible to apply. Up to 2 scholarships will be awarded to Colorado students. There will be a separate awards celebration for Colorado Springs recipients.

Sara graduated from Arizona State University this December, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in three and a half years. She attended the Watt's College of Public Service and Community Solutions, and majored in Social Work.
This past summer, she served Access ASU as a Summer Programs Liaison through AmeriCorps. Access ASU is dedicated to increasing access to higher education and preparing Arizona students for success through family engagement and strategic K-12 education and community partnerships.
In May, Sara will begin her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Direct Practice at ASU. She demonstrates what is possible through dedication, hard work and perseverance.
