Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school senior who are involved in service to others. Alisa's Angels was founded in memory of Alisa, who was committed to helping others because, "that is what we were put on earth to do”.
Application packages are reviewed by a selection committee. Applicants will be notified in early March, 2019 of the results. Recipients will be presented the scholarships at the gala on March 24.
For the first time, graduating high school seniors from the Colorado Springs area - El Paso and Teller Counties - are eligible to apply. Up to 2 scholarships will be awarded to Colorado students. There will be a separate awards celebration for Colorado Springs recipients.

Skie (Osborn) Kagulire
2015 Graduate, Pepperdine University
Skie Kagulire graduated from Pepperdine University with honors in 2015. She was one of Alisa's angels first loan recipients. Skie now works for Silicon Valley Bank in Boston as part of a lending team specializing in medical device and biopharma companies that are developing innovations in health care. She has been with SVB for three years.
She and her husband, Frank, serve with their church youth group. She is also fundraising for a student in Uganda to help him get his bachelor's degree. So far they have raised enough money to cover his first year of school.

Alisa’s Angels scholarship recipients are working and attending school throughout the nation, from Washington state to Washington DC, Maine to Michigan, Oregon to Orlando.
