Who is Alisa?

On March 19, 2004, Alisa Michelle Wallendorf, a beautiful girl who filled every space she entered with an abundance of love, laughter, and joy, died in a single car crash.  She was 15. When we lost her, we cried not only for ourselves, but also for a world that would no longer have the pure joy and love that defined her.

I created Alisa’s Angels Foundation in her memory, in April of 2005. Alisa's Angels is committed to carrying on those things that were special about Alisa – her love for children, and her selfless caring for others. With this in our hearts, Alisa’s Angels is “helping youth who are helping others” through our scholarships and mentorship programs.

Even though she died at a young age, Alisa impacted many people of all ages through her endless love and selfless giving. I don’t have all the answers. However, I do know this… Alisa touched us all with a truly amazing grace.
